Fire hits Isabela City coast

COTABATO CITY - The Office of Civil Defense in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (OCD-ARMM) today reported a fire incident in Isabela City, Basilan province.The OCD-ARMM said the conflagration erupted at about 5:30 p.m. from unknown origin.In its report, the OCD office said the fire gutted down undetermined number of houses at the Barangay Fort Area, Isabela City.Most of the destroyed houses were made of light materials situated along the coast. Fire out was declared at 7:30 p.m.Arson investigators are still at the fire site conducting post fire probe to determine the cause of the fire, the extent of damage and what assistance are needed for the fire victims.
