COTABATO CITY - The Department of Health in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) has formed Tawi-Tawi ebola task force to monitor the entry of illegal migrants from Malaysia and other neighboring countries. It was part of our readiness on the possibility of entry of persons with the dreaded virus, Dr. Kadil Sinolinding Jr, regional secretary of Department of Health (DOH-ARMM), told DXMS Radyo Bida.With Tawi-Tawi task force already in place, Sinolinding said other provinces in the region will also form its own task force as part of preventive measures.He appealed to all ARMM residents who recently traveled abroad and have returned home to submit themselves for medical check up to ensure they are ebola-free.
