Creepy stabbing incident left 2 dead in N. Cotabato
KIDAPAWAN CITY - What was planned as a joint venture to earn a living, two men ended up dead in a bizarre turn of event.They were friends and best buddy. They were identified by Mlang police as Christopher Cabahug, 31 of Barangay Nursery, Kidapawan City and Alfredo Rios Jr of Barangay New Consolacion, Mlang.Supt. Joefry Todeño, Mlang town police chief, said the two were both on board a motorcyle driven by Rios with Cabahug as his back rider heading to Barangay New Consolacion.On Friday night, they both agreed to work as laborerat the sugarcane plantation of a certain Alfredo Estecomen in Barangay New Consolacion. From Kidapawan City, the two traveled on Saturday dawn to Barangay New Consolacion but along the way, according to police, they had a heated argument while mobile toward Mlang.It was at this point that Cabahug pulled a knife and stabbed Rios while the motorcyle was in motion. Rios resisted and managed to recover the knife from Cabahug and stabbed him too.Cabahug died on the spot due to multiple knife injuries.Rios walked for few meters to reach a house where he sought help. Residents rushed him to a hospital but died along the way.
