Cotabato Light announces power interruption

COTABATO CITY - The Cotabato Light and Power Company will implement today a 1-hour morning brownout and another 1-hour afternoon brown out as directed by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines.In a news bulletin, Arlene Hepiga,Cotabato Light communications officer,said power interruption will commence at 9 a.m. until 10 a.m for the temporary transfer to facilitate the emergency replacement of critical rotten poles cross-arms.At 4 p.m. today, an hour interruption will be imposedfor the shifting back and normalization of loads. Coabato Light said this is due to the National Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP ) scheduled maintenance activity.This interruption will be automatically canceled upon cancellation of NGCP's power interruption or upon earlier restoration of its power supply, Cotabato Light said.
