'Clash of Champions' to entertain Cotabatenios

COTABATO CITY -- All is set for the most awaited Clash of Champions, also known as Cotabato City's CoC, this evening at the Cotabato City State Polytechnic College Gymnasium.It will be a clash of champions in Cotabato City's singing talents who are all certified professional singers.Jeff Mendez, CoC producer and director, said eight finalists will outsmart each other in a competition that defines Cotabato City's singing industry.The grand showdown will featureClarissa Oliva, Hero Salik, Haanah Tiboron,
Mark Anthony Uy, Shera Sumalampong, Kate Princess Bucol, Roselyn Basanez and Almirah Laguilay.A joint project of the Cotabato City government, Cotabato City Performing Arts Guild, DXMS Radyo Bida and Happy FM of the Notre Dame Broadcasting Corporation, the show will also feature Pepper Divas, a singing trio that gained popularity through ABS-CBN's 'Pinas Sikat' and 'Talentadong Pinoy' of TV-5.Halima Satol-Ibrahim, CoC chairperson said the show which is free for all Cotabatenios and nearby towns will officially starts at 8 p.m. instead of 6 p.m. to pave the way for the Ramadhan's breaking of the fast at dusk.The show forms part of the Araw ng Kutabato celebrations.
