Cases of emptied beers seen in vice mayor's car in S. Cotabato highway mishap

KORONADAL CITY - Police and netizens found cases of emptied beers at the back of a government pick-up vehicle driven by Lake Sebu Vice Mayor Floro Gandam that figured in a highway mishap in Barangay Palian, Tupi, South CotabatoThursday.The freak accident happened at past 2 p.m. along the Koronadal City - Gen. Santos City highway.Gandam told reporters he did not notice a parked Mitsubishi Canter loaded with about 200 bags of cement parked at the road side, near a road repair work area.The hood of government-ownedblack Ford Rangerpick-up with license plate SAA-4810 was damaged severely after it smashed the rear of Mitsubishi Canter.The incident left Gandam, his wife Maria and three others identified asErnesto Gandam, Emma Twalang andMyla Mino slightly injured. Gandam told DXOM-AM Radyo Bida Koronadal that he was driving the vehicle heading to Koronadal City from Gen. Santos Citywith four others when it smashed on a parked cargo truck.
