ARMM forms Task Force Ebola
COTABATO CITY –
The Department of Health in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (DOH-ARMM)
has formed a task force that will monitor possible entry of persons with Ebola
virus.

Sinolinding, DOH-ARMM regional secretary, said the Task Force Ebola will have
personnel highly trained to handle cases should there is one in the region.
The task force
monitoring and education drive will have its attention in the provinces of Sulu
and Tawi-Tawi, known as the country’s southern backdoor and used as entry an
exit points to Malaysia.
Monitoring
units were established in seaports and airports around the region.
Part of the
task force duties are to education and inform the public about the Ebola virus
and what to in case there is one case or two in the region,” Sinolinding said, adding
tht to date no single case was reported in the region.
