12 hurt in Tupi highway mishap

KORONADAL CITY - Twelve persons were hurt when a pick-up truck they were riding in slammed on a roadside tree after one of its front tire exploded in Barangay Polonuling, Tupi, South Cotabato Thursday.The Tupi PNP said the Toyota Hi-Lux (AOA-1313), driven by Aiko Villamosada,was heading toward Koronadal City when its tire went off and hit a tree. Villamosada reportedly lost control of the steering wheel after the blast. Hurt and rushed at South Cotabato provincial hosptial wereNemia Grecia, Lizyl Padilla, Grace Bernabe, katrina Gomez, Marlon Jugar, Jerald Ramada, Rodora Cogonon, Merick Icy Agustin, Grace Glee Felaez, Rea rendon, all ofPolomolok, South Cotabato and Geraldine Balisacan ofLagao, General Santos City.They sustained head and body injuries.
