COTABATO CITY – After months of surveillance operations, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PDEA-BARMM) arrested a couple and seized from them P3.4 million worth of shabu during law enforcement operation in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte Tuesday.

COTABATO CITY --- Suspected extortionists killed two ambulant fish vendors in an ambush in South Upi, Maguindanao del Sur at dusk Saturday.

South Upi PNP Chief Major Dareen Tolosa, interviewed by DXMS Radyo Bida, identified the fatalities as Danny Ramas, 57 and Jeperson Berman, 25, both residents of Barangay Romongaob, South Upi, Maguindanao del Sur.

Tolosa said Berman and Ramas were riding a motorcycle together on their way home from Barangay Sanduagan when they were attacked by gunmen positioned along the route.

COTABATO CITY --- Anti-narcotics agents seized P408,000 worth of shabu from an alleged dealer entrapped Thursday in Koronadal City, 109 kilometers from his hometown in Maguindanao del Sur where he reportedly enjoyed protection from the Dawlah Islamiya.

Aileen Lovitos, director of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-12, said Friday Ibrahim Tininti Sally, also known as Kobe, is now detained, to be prosecuted for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 using the P408,000 worth shabu confiscated from him.

COTABATO CITY --- Suspected members of a local terrorist group killed two policemen and wounded four others in an ambush on Wednesday night in Shariff Aguak town in Maguindanao del Sur.

Brig. Allan C. Nobleza, director of the Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, identified the fatalities as Patrolman Saipoden S. Macacuna and Patrolman Bryan D. Polayagan, who both died on the spot from multiple bullet wounds.
