MNLF commander slain in North Cotabato gun attack

COTABATO CITY - KINILALA ANG biktima na si Datu Jordan Tayuan na taga Purok Uno, Barangay Bual Sur, Midsayap.

Sinabi sa Radyo Bida ni Midsayap town police chief Lt. Col. Rolly Oranza na naganap ang pamamaril pasado alas 5:00 ng hapon kahapon.

Dagdag pa nito na nanonood ng TV sa loob ng kanyang bahay ang biktima nang siya ay pasukin ng mga suspect at pinagbabaril.

Patay on the spot ang biktima.

Narekober sa crime scene ang apat na basyo ng caliber 45 pistol at anim na basyo ng caliber 5.56mm.          

Soldier killed, companion hurt in latest BIFF attack

COTABATO CITY - An army corporal was killed while another was hurt as local terrorists fired rifles at a military outpost in Datu Salibo, Maguindanao del Sur lateThursday.

Col. Oriel Pangcog, commander of the Army’s 601st Infantry Brigade, identified the fatality as Cpl. Allan Balena.

Army seized BIFF’s bombs, guns in Maguindanao

CAMPS SIONGCO, Maguindanao  – Acting on a tip from civilians, government forces in Maguindanao have recovered Monday improvised explosive devices and firearms kept in an abandoned safe house in the Liguasan marshland.

On Tuesday, Lieutenant Colonel Michael Glenn Manansala, commander of the 6th Infantry “Redskin” Battalion, said the explosives and firearms were owned by Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF), a local terrorist groups allied with ISIS.

2 women dead, 3 other females hurt in North Cotabato gun attacks

COTABATO CITY --- Two women were killed while three other females were badly wounded in separate gun attacks in Pikit and Mlang towns in North Cotabato Thursday.

2 women slain in yet another gun attack in Pikit

PIKIT, North Cotabato – Three women were the latest victims of violence here and two of them did not survive in the daylight gun attack Thursday.

Responding villagers and police officers rushed the victims to a hospital in Poblacion Pikit. 

Major Maxim Peralta, Pikit police chief, told DXMS Radyo Bida that the attackers were two men riding tandem on a motorbike who carried the attack in Barangay Gli-gli at past 2 p.m.

Maj. Peralta said investigation is still going on.

Today’s gun attack came two day after two men were injured in separate shooting incident.

MATAPOS ANG ISANG PEACE dialogue na pinangunahan ni Midsayap Mayor Rolly Sacdalan, AFP at PNP, pati na ng ceasefire panel ng GPH at MILF, nagkasundo ang dalawang naglalabang pamilya na itigil na ang kanilang away.

Ginawa ang peace dialogue sa Barangay Sambulawan, Misdsayap Cluster 1 ng Special Geographic Area ng BARMM kahapon.

Nagkamayan sina MILF Commander Renz Tukuran at Commander Lak ng Moro National Libertion Front bilang hudyat ng ceasefire.

Police, Army secure troubled Maguindanao town

DATU ODIN SINSUAT, Maguindanao --- The police and Army deployed here peacekeeping teams following Friday’s murder near a mosque a Moro datu belonging to a ruling clan.

Two were killed, Datu Jamael Sinsuat, a former barangay chairman here, and his still unidentified attacker.

The nephew of Sinsuat, Darius, was wounded in another shooting incident here hours later.

Sinsuat was to board his vehicle, from a mosque, when he was approached and shot by the suspect from behind.

Sinsuat’s companions returned fire, killing the suspect instantly. 

UBJP condemns killing of Datu Jam Sinsuat

COTABATO CITY – The United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP), political party of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has condemned the murder of Datu Jam Q. Sinsuat on Friday.

Atty. Naguib Sinarimbo, UBJP secretary general, issued the condemnation after Datu Jam was shot dead outside a Mosque in Barangay Dalican, Datu Odin Sinsuat.

“We condemn the brutal killing of one of our Party leaders in Dalican, Datu Jam Q. Sinsuat, Sr,” Sinarimbo said.

3 dead in Maguindanao shootout

DATU ODIN SINSUAT, Maguindanao - Three were killed, among them a popular Moro datu, in a gunfight just after a traditional Friday Islamic worship rite in a mosque in a busy area here.

Datu Jamael Sinsuat, who lost in his bid for this town’s mayoral post during the May 9 elections, died on the spot from bullet wounds sustained in an attack by a suspected hired killer.
