Cops arrest illegal recruiters, rescue victims

COTABATO CITY - Police
authorities here arrested on Monday suspected illegal recruiters and rescued
the victims from Gen. Santos City at a police checkpoint here.

Senior
Supt. Rex Anongos, Cotabato City police chief, identified the suspects as Abdullah
Ali Baroba, 30, driver of Mitsubishi Adventure used in transporting the victims
to Marawi City Marlo Maghanoy, 52 and
his wife Lusviminda, 52, both of Barangay Labangal, Gen Santos City, and Sittie
Indad Omar, 52 of Saguiran, Lanao del Sur.

DOJ to file charges vs. suspects in Mamasapano incident

COTABATO CITY -- The Department of Justice (DOJ) and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) will file murder and multiplecharges against 90 individuals, including members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF)in connection with the Mamasapano incident.Justice Sec. Leila de Lima said piles of evidences will be forwarded to the National Prosecution Service.The filing of chargeswas based on the recommendation of Joint Special Investigation Team that also included direct assault, murder and theft.De Lima was confident the case will prosper due to strong evidences.
