Lebak cops arrest militiaman for pushing illegal drugs

LEBAK, Sultan Kudarat - After a week-long surveillance on suspected illegal drug pusher in Barangay Tibpuan here, police agents arrested a 30 year old militiaman caught in the act of dealing prohibited drugs.Chief Inspector Benhur Catcatan, Lebak municipal police station chief, identified the suspect as Rollen Gesulta, alias Tawhite, and resident of Barangay Tibpuan.Police operatives, armed with search warrant issued by Judge Renato Gleyo of Regional Trial Court Branch 19 in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, arrested Gesulta in Purok Tayang, Barangay Tibpuan Thursday morning.Catcatan said the suspe

KORONADAL CITY - A woman gave birth to a healthy baby girl while on board a mobile Mindanao Star bus heading to Koronadal City from Gen. Santos City on Sundaymorning.Passengers noticedMary Jane Pasion of Tampakan, South Cotabato, was restless while sitting but remained quiet.Her co-passengers noticed she was about to deliver a baby and they assisted her.Pasion told reporters she was on her way to the South Cotabato provincial hospital after she felt she was already on labor. The baby was born at 8:45 a.m.


Wayward bus tire hits, kills girl in Koronadal City

KORONADAL CITY – A 14-year-old teenage
girl was killed while her brother was critically wounded when she was hit by
rampaging double tire of a passenger bus that was detached while the bus was
traversing in a remote village here Sunday.

the girl as Trisha Alberio, resident of Purok Artisean, Barangay San Roque,
