Grand Mufti says ISIS is haram, un-Islamic

Islamic religious leader in Cotabato City today said that Islam does not and
will not recognize the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

Grand Mufti Abuhuraira Udasan said ISIS is haram” (prohibited)for Islam and and its
teachings is not recognized by the Muslim Ummah (Muslim World).

Udasan said he was surprised to
learn that one of the fatalities in Palimbang clash, where ISIS inspired armed
group and the Philippine Marines clashed last week, was from Cotabato City.


Cotabato Light announces power interruption

COTABATO CITY - The Cotabato Light and Power Company will implement today a 1-hour morning brownout and another 1-hour afternoon brown out as directed by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines.In a news bulletin, Arlene Hepiga,Cotabato Light communications officer,said power interruption will commence at 9 a.m. until 10 a.m for the temporary transfer to facilitate the emergency replacement of critical rotten poles cross-arms.At 4 p.m. today, an hour interruption will be imposedfor the shifting back and normalization of loads.


Guianiand ISIS now exists in Cotabato City

COTABATO CITY – Sympathizers of extremist Islamic State
of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) exist in Cotabato City, the city mayor here said

Mayor Japal Guiani Jr said he was alarmed and disturbed by the information
that he received from reliable informants that the international terrorist
group has its cell in the city.

It made him even more worried when reports have it that one or
more of the fatalities in the Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat clash last week were
from this city.
