KORONADAL CITY -  Tumalima sa “Operation Kulob” na isinusulong ng pamahalaang panlalawigan para mapigilan ang pagdami ng dengue cases sa South Cotabato.

Ito ang panawagan sa mga mamamayan ni Provincial Mosquito Borne Disease Coordinator Jose Barroquillo.

Ayon kay Barroquillo kahit mas mababa ang kaso ng dengue ngayon sa South Cotabato kumpara noong nakaraang taon hindi pa rin dapat maging kampante ang publiko.

COTABATO CITY  – Twenty six new cases of COVID-19 positive have been reported in the Bangsamoro Region, raising the region’s confirmed coronavirus positive to 64, the region’s ministry of health today said.

It was the highest single day tally of COVID-19 positive in the region.

One of the cases was a woman resident of Kulaybato, Lamitan City and wife of a man earlier tested positive for coronavirus, Dr. Saffrullah Dipatuan, health minister of Bangsamoro region, said in a statement.

COTABATO CITY - Two more patients tested positive for coronavirus have been listed by the Department of Health in the Soccsksargen region as of today, June 16. 

In the city, the latest patient was a 33 year old lady, a locally stranded individual, who arrived in Cotabato City on Sunday on board PAL flight PR 2959, according to Dr. Meyasser Patadon, city health chief.

She is the 15th COVID-19 positive in Cotabato City.

The other is a 58-year-old man from South Cotabato who arrived from Manila on June 13.

COTABATO CITY - The Department of Health in the Soccsksargen region today reported that two more patients, two males from Manila, were tested positive of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

In its situation report released today, DOH-12 said the region now has 41 confirmed COVID-19 patientsm, 22 of whom have recovered.

The 40th patient, a 35-year-old male who is still awaiting PH number, has traveled to Manila and returned to South Cotabato on June 11, Thursday.  He was on stable condition.

COTABATO CITY --- Besides its war on coronavirus, the North Cotabato provincial government is guarding constituents versus another viral disease ---- dengue fever.

Citing reports from local government units and the provincial health office, Gov. Nancy Catamco said Monday there were 396 recorded dengue cases in the province since January 2020.

The figures are, however, lower if compared to the dengue cases in other provinces and cities in Region 12 and nearby towns in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, according to provincial and municipal officials.

COTABATO CITY -- A 9-month old baby boy, Cotabato City's 10th coronavirus disease (COVID-19) patient and the region's 24th, has survived the virus after he recovered, the Department of Health (DOH-Soccsksargen region) reported Sunday. 

He has history of exposure to the 23rd COVID-19 patient, his 11-year-old sister who had close association with the city's 8th COVID-19 patient, an employee of Cotabato City govenrment. 

Cotabato City now has nine patients who have recovered. 

KORONADAL CITY - Health authorities in the Soccsargen region listed today two more cases of confirmed COVID-19 positive as of today, raising the total number to 39.

One of them is a 22-year-old male from Cotabato City traveled from Manila and arriving in the city on June 11.  He is on stable condition and awaiting PH number. The patient is the 14th positive case in Cotabato City.

Next is a 28-year-old female from Sarangani province who traveled from Manila to Gen. Santos City arriving on June 10.  She is on stable condition and sti awaiting PH number.

COTABATO CITY --- Lanao del Sur now has 30 COVID-19 patients under quarantine in different facilities in the province.

Lanao del Sur Gov. Mamintal Adiong, Jr. announced Saturday that all 30 Maranaws have tested positive to coronavirus.

“Everything is being done to prevent transmissions,” Adiong told reporters.

Lanao del Sur is one of the five provinces in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

COTABATO CITY  – As the number of returning residents of Maguidanao continues to rise, the provincial government has started using contact tracing application, establishment of isolation facilities in every town and a 4-hectare cemetery for coronavirus fatalities.

Efforts have been strengthened to prevent entry of returning individuals and overseas Filipino workers with the virus. “All returning Locall Stranded Individuals (LSIs) wanting to be with their loved ones at home are most welcome,” Maguindanao Gov. Bai Mariam Sangki-Mangudadatu said.

KORONADAL CITY - Two residents of South Cotabato who have travel history to Cebu and Manila have been tested positive of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), raising the region's positive patients to 37, the Department of Health (DOH-12) said on Independence Day.

The 36th patient is a 23-year-old female who traveled to Cebu and arrived in the province on May 31.  She is stable and awaiting PH number.

The 37th patient, still awaiting PH number, was a 37-year-old female who traveled to Manila arriving in South Cotabato on June 6. She is on stable condition.
