COTABATO CITY—As part of Bangsamoro Government’s continuous effort in addressing coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic in the region, a 100-bed capacity of Covid-19 isolation facility is being constructed at Datu Odin Sinsuat District Hospital in Maguindanao.
 
“Ang 100-bed capacity isolation facility na ito ay walang kapareho ang design sa buong Pilipinas [...] unique ito at tatapusin natin ito within 70 days, In Shaa Allah,” said Minister ofMinistry of Public Work (MPW)  Edward U. Guerra, who led the groundbreaking ceremony of the said facility on October 29, 2021.

COTABATO CITY – According to officials of the Ministry of Health (MOH), Covid-19 cases in the Bangsamoro region have been significantly declining mainly due to the vaccination efforts of the ministry.
 
Nearly half a million or 481,159 residents have already been vaccinated in the 63 vaccination hubs across BARMM, with 283,107 individuals fully vaccinated while 198,052 received their first dose.
 
MOH Deputy Minister Dr. Zul Qarneyn Abas assured the public that the vaccines are safe and meet optimum efficiency and efficacy.

MANILA - The Concerned Doctors and Citizens of the Philippines (CDC Ph) recently called on the Department of Labor and Employment to enforce its current guidelines prohibiting employers from mandating vaccinations as a prerequisite for employment.

This request from CDC Ph comes as several business groups released a statement asking for the government to allow companies to impose stricter requirements on unvaccinated employees and patrons, and to decline unvaccinated job applicants.

COTABATO CITY – The Ministry of Health in the Bangsamoro Region in Muslim Mindanao (MOH-BARMM) reported Wednesday that almost half a million or 481,159 individuals have been vaccinated against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) across the region.

“We have administered the first dose to 198,052 individuals and those who received their second dose (fully vaccinated) numbered 283,107,” Dr. Ashary Latiph, BARMM health minister, told a news conference here Wednesday morning.
