Aboitiz’s 150MW coal to operate soon

At least 150 megawatts of electricity coming from the Aboitiz Power’s coal-fired power plants in Davao City will have its full commercial operations anytime soon, an official said. The plant is operated by the Therma South, Incorporated (TSI), a subsidiary of the Aboitiz Power. Wilfredo Rodolfo III, communications officer of the Aboitiz Power in Mindanao, said they are already wrapping up the testing and commissioning of their first coal plant in Toril district and would be announcing until September 27 its full commercial operations.

Assessed real properties in Q2 S. Cotabato rises to 160K

South Cotabato proposes P1.4 billion for 2016

KORONADAL CITY - South Cotabato is proposing a P1.4 billion annual budgetfor 2016, the provincialbudget officer today said.Luz Fontanilla, provincial budgetofficer, said the proposed annual budget is higher by P1.2 billion as compared to this year's allocation.The funds will be divided into three major components of the provincial government's programs for the coming year.These are the general services, social services and economic sector.Fontanilla said at this point in time it is still uncertain how much each government agency gets since everything is still in the process of preparations.
