COTABATO CITY - A magnitude 5.2 earthquake today hit Davao Occidental, the second in the area in an hour, the fifth in Mindanao on Saturday,the
Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said in its
bulletin.
The quake, traced 34 kilometers east of Saranggani town in Davao
Occidental, was tectonic in origin and occurred at 8:29 p.m.
It has a depth of focus of 126 kilometers.
No casualty or damage to property was reported. Intensity I was
felt in Gen. Santos City and Saranggani provincial capitol in Alabel town.
