No lockdown in Koronadal City, Mayor Ogena says

KORONADAL CITY - Fake news at walang katotohanan.

Ito ang sinabi ni Koronadal Mayor Eliordo Ogena matapos pabulaanan ang kumakalat na impormasyon na pagsailalim sa lungsod sa lockdown simula December 24 hanggang sa bagong taon.

Binigyan diin ni Ogena na walang dahilan para isailalim sa lockdown ang Koronadal.

Paliwanag ng alkalde naging matagumpay ang lokal na pamahalaan sa paglaban sa COVID-19.

Sa katunayan ang Koronadal City ay mayroon lamang 41 active COVID-19 cases sa ngayon.

16 names potential presidential bets in 2022 polls: study

Magnitude 6 earthquake jolts Davao Oriental, SM mall has damages

COTABATO CITY - A magnitude 6.1 earthquake rocks Sarangani and part of Soccsksargen region Wednesday morning, the state volcanology office today said.

In a bulletin, the Phivolcs said the quake struck at 7:22 a.m. and its epicenter was traced a kilometer away from SArangani town in Davao Occidental.

NDBC COVID 19 WATCH: 54 healed, 28 new cases

Mas marami pa rin ang bilang ng mga pasyenteng gumaling na mula sa Coronavirus Disease sa Soccsksargen Region.

Ayon sa talaan ng Department of Health hanggang kagabi, 54 ang mga pasyenteng tuluyan ng gumaling mula sa nakamamatay na sakit.

Sa 54 na pasyenteng gumaling, 23 ang taga Sarangani, 11 Cotabato City, 10 South Cotabato, 8 General Santos City at tig-iisa sa North Cotabato at Sultan kudarat.

Dahil dito umaabot na sa 3,833 ang total recoveries ng Covid 19 sa Rehiyon. Kahapon din, naitala ng DOH ang 28 panibagong coronavirus infection sa Rehiyon.

Sangkot sa nasabing aksidente ng banggaan ng isang tricycle at isang Yamaha aerox.

Agad namang dinala sa malapit na bahay pagamutan ang mga sugatan na motorista.

Papasok sana sa National Highway ang motorsiklo nang mahagip ito ng bus.

Nabatid na 3 ang sakay ng motorsiklo na pawang mga residente ng Barangay San Roque.

Sa ngayon ay inaalam pa ang pagkakakilanlan ng mga sakay ng motorsiklo.

Isinugod naman sa hospital ang 2 sakay ng motorsiklo.

Broadcast-print journalist Malu Cadeliña-Manar succumbs to cardiac arrest

KIDAPAWAN CITY - Veteran print and broadcast journalist Malu Cadeliña-Manar "writes 30" Sunday night. 

She succumbed to cardiac arrest Sunday night.  She is 52-years-old.

She was rushed to Kidapawan Medical Specialist Hospital after complaining of breast pain but breathed her last at about 6:30 p.m.

Malu Manar was a public affairs anchorperson of Ronda FM in Kidapawan City and correspondent of on line news portal www.mindanews.com and Manila Bulletin national newspaper at the time of her demise.
