KIDAPAWAN CITY  – Another town mayor in North Cotabato, his wife and two workers of the municipal government have tested positive of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Manuel Lalaguna, municipal administrator of Makilala, said Mayor Armando Quibod and his wife who regularly accompany the mayor in his functions as chief executive, along with two town employees are stable and currently isolated in a COVID-19 isolation facility.

ALAMADA, North Cotabato - Sa lahat ng minamahal kong Alamadians, nais ko pong ipaalam sa inyo na ako po ay nag positibo sa COVID-19 dahil may nakasalamuha ako na positibo sa COVID-19 sa isang pagtitipon habang ginagampanan ko ang tungkulin bilang inyong Municipal Mayor.

Kasalukuyan akong naka-quarantine, ngunit huwag kayong mag-alala sapagkat nasa maayos po akong kalagayan.

Para na rin sa kaligtasan ng lahat at mga taong palagi kong nakakasalamuha, kinakailangan kong sundin ang tamang proseso.

MAKILALA, North Cotabato – A high-ranking leader of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New Peoples’ Army (CPP-NPA) in North Cotabato facing criminal charges voluntarily surrendered to authorities here Sunday.

Maj. Arniel Melocotones, Makilala police chief, identified the surrenderer as Lilia Cagulada Gecana alias Commander Ligaya, 63, of the NPA Guerrilla Front 72 and designated chairperson of Gabriela Malabuan Cluster.

MANILA – Mindanao and some areas in the Visayas will experience scattered rains on Wednesday, the weather bureau said.

KORONADAL CITY - Mahigit 20 sugatan sa karambola ng apat na mga sasaskyan sa Tupi South Cotabato Naganap ang vehicular crash pasado alas tres ng kahapon sa national highway barangay Crossing Rubber Tupi, South Cotabato.

MANILA – At least 5,293 medical front-liners of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) have been inoculated so far with the Sinovac Biotech's CoronaVac vaccines as many have responded to the call, AFP public affairs office chief Navy Capt. Jonathan Zata said on Monday.

Zata said the vaccinees came mostly from military treatment facilities (MTFs) in the National Capital Region (NCR) and the 4th Infantry Division in Cagayan De Oro.

COTABATO CITY --- The Deparment of Health-12 has earmarked 2,138 anti-coronavirus jabs for personnel of two medical institutions that are both inside the Bangsamoro region.

The Cotabato Regional Medical Center (CRMC) and the Cotabato Sanitarium Hospital are located in Cotabato City and in Sultan Kudarat town in Maguindanao, respectively.
