MAGUINDANAO ---- The animosity between the Moro Islamic Liberation Front and a local Islamic State-inspired group escalated Thursday after both declared eachother irreconcilable adversaries.The group of Esmael Abdulmalik, which uses the flag of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria as its banner, warned the MILF of more attacks to avenge its losses in encounters with its Task Force Ittihad.Abdulmalik drew criticisms from central Mindanao’s Muslim communities for accusing the MILF of collaborating with a kuffar government by engaging in peace talks with Malacañang.
