Zubiriand Confidence in ARMM regional government will help BBL passage

COTABATO CITY -- It is clear that public service in the ARMM is on an entirely different level, Sen. Miguel Zubiri said after an emotional speech by Regional Governor Mujiv Hataman during the Joint Public Hearing on the Bangsamoro Basic Law Bills held in Cotabato City.The hearing is the third joint public hearing on the said measure, according to Zubiri who chairs the Senate subcommittee on the BBL.Holding back tears, Hataman expressed his sadness over accusations that the ARMM of recent years has done nothing to help the Bangsamoro people.

COTABATO CITY – The Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) recorded the highest number of qualifiers in science scholarship programs in the region this year as 70third-yearcollege students passed the Junior Level Science Scholarship (JLSS) examination. The increase of qualifiers is almost threefold considering there were only 24 passers in the previous year. The increasing number of passers can be attributed to the region’s ‘Syensiya-bilidad’ program, Science and Technology (SandampT) ARMM Secretary Myra Mangkabung said.
