“Serbisyong DAR TO DOOR” kicks off in North Cotabato

KIDAPAWAN CITY - The Department of Agrarian Reform in North Cotabato recently kicked-off the “Serbisyong DAR TO DOOR,” a door to door delivery of the Certificate of Land Ownership Awards (CLOAs) to agrarian reform beneficiaries in the province, a high-ranking official said.

Engr. Reynaldo Anfone, provincial agrarian reform program officer II, led the CLOA distribution to 82 ARBs in the municipalities of Tulunan, Matalam, and Kabacan on July 28, 29, and 30, respectively.


Banisilan farmers get about P13-M worth of Agri inputs from DAR-Cotabato

BANISILAN, North Cotabato - More than 1,195 farmer-beneficiaries in Banisilan town in North Cotabato are expected to benefit from the agri-inputs augmentation under the Mindanao Sustainable Agrarian and Agriculture Development (MinSAAD) Project of the Department of Agrarian Reform with a combined amount of almost P13 million, high-ranking official of the department said.


Over 44k rice farmer beneficiaries in Region 12 get cash aid from DA

KORONADAL CITY - The Department of Agriculture (DA 12) has already disbursed more than PhP223-million of its Rice Farmers’ Financial Assistance (RFFA) fund after distributing this financial aid to 44,677 rice farmers. Each of these rice farmer-beneficiaries has received PhP5,000.

Arlan Mangelen, DA 12 regional executive director disclosed that the agency already accomplished 61.84% of its total regional allocation of 72,251 rice farmer-beneficiaries as of July 06, 2020.


800 households to benefit from DAR water project in Carmen, North Cotabato

KIDAPAWAN CITY - More than 800 households under the Carmen Convergence agrarian reform community will now have better access to potable water supply after the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) turned-over a Community-managed Potable Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene (CPWASH) Project in Barangay Macabenban, Carmen, North Cotabato on June 30.


DAR hands over P2.7-M worth of farm machines in North Cotabato

KORONADAL CITY - Nais ng Department of Agriculture 12 na matugunan kaagad ang epekto ng COVID-19 pandemic lalong lalo na sa supply ng pagkain kaya naglaan ito ng mahigit P608 million pesos para sa food production sa rehiyon.

Ito ay ayon kay DA 12 Regional Executive Director Arlan Mangelen.

Sinabi ni Mangelen para mapataas pa ang produksyon ng mga magsasaka ni-realign ng DA 12 ang pondo sa iba nilang mga proyekto. Paliwanag ni Mangelen, kailangan nila itong gawin para tumugma sa sitwasyon ngayon.


DAR provides livelihood aid to women farmers in SK

ISULAN, Sultan Kudarat -- The Department of Agrarian Reform in Sultan Kudarat recently distributed livelihood support to selected rural women Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARB) under the ARBold Project of the agency in order to mitigate the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic in the household.

Livelihood starter kits amounting to P75,000 were extended to 5 women farmers from the municipality of Columbio, which included the provision of 3 healthy, live goats per woman ARB with each goat costing P5,000.


360 SK upland farmers get palay seeds

The Department of Agriculture in Region 12 (DA 12) distributed upland rice seeds to farmers in three towns of the province of Sultan Kudarat (SK).

The DA’s Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) Program started the turn-over on May 19 in Senator Ninoy Aquino, on May 20 in Palimbang and today in Bagumbayan.

Each municipality has 120 farmer-beneficiaries who each received two bags of upland rice seeds. In summary, the DA-SAAD was able to distribute 720 bags to 360 farmer-beneficiaries.

The seeds cost PhP2.1-million.


DAR-SK distributes food packs to farmers amid COVID-19 pandemic

ISULAN, Sultan Kudarat - The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in Sultan Kudarat kicked-off the distribution of supplemental food packs and non-food items worth 500 pesos per pack, to some 6,370 selected Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) province-wide, with a simultaneous event in the municipalities of Isulan, Lutayan and Kalamansig, covering 250, 200 and 9 ARBs, respectively.


RED Mangelen installs new RAFC 12 chair

The new Regional Agriculture and Fishery Council (RAFC) 12 chairman officially took the helm on May 15, 2020 after Department of Agriculture 12 Regional Executive Director Arlan Mangelen turned-over the key of responsibility to him.

In front of DA 12 employees and his fellow AFC chairmen all over the region, Eduardo Castin accepted the pivotal role of a regional farmer-leader who will help the DA in securing collaboration with farmers in policy making and project monitoring.
