STL tellers to receive livelihood assistance from DOLE

KORONADAL CITY - Tutulungan ng pamahalaan ang mga mamamayan sa Region 12 na nawalan ng trabaho dahil sa pagpapasara ng Small Town Lottery Outlets.

Maalalang pinasara ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa operasyon ng STL at lahat ng numbers games ng PCSO. Ilang araw ang makalipas, ibinalik ang PCSO lotto at ang STL ay maaring di na.

Sa katunayan ang mga field offices ng Department of Labor and Employment o DOLE 12 ay magsasagawa ng profiling sa mga nagtatrabaho noon sa STL.

Ito ay ayon kay DOLE 12 Regional Director Sisinio Cano.

Ayon kay Cano layon nito na mabigyan ng kaukulang tulong tulad ng emergency employment o livelihood assistance ang mga trabahante noon sa STL.

Ipinahayag ni Cano na ang mga benepisyaryo ay maaring makatanggap ng mula P10,000 hanggang P20 ,000 na livelihood starter kits.

Matatandaan na ipinatigil ng Pangulo ang STL dahil umano sa anomalya sa Philippine Charity Sweepstakes o PCSO.(Roel P. Osano)
