COTABATO CITY -- A former member of the Oblate Media community, Eduardo “Ed” Dizon, of an FM station in Kidapawan City, was killed by gunmen Wednesday night in Kidapawan City.

He was on his way home from work when he was attacked by men on motorcycles armed with pistols. He sustained five gunshot wounds in different parts of his body, causing his immediate death. 

Dizon was once a disc jockey of DXOL-FM, now Happy FM-Cotabato, Happy FM-Kidapawan and news and public affairs anchorman of DXND in Kidapawan City before he joined politics as councilor of Makilala, North Cotabato.
