PRO-12 Regional Director Brig. Gen. Eliseo Tam Rasco leads cops in closing lotto outlets. (PRO-12)

GEN. SANTOS CITY - In compliance with the directive of President RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE to the PNP and AFP published on Friday, Police Regional Office (PRO) 12 initiated an inspection and closure of all number games outlets in SOCCSAKSARGEN spearheaded by no less than PBGEN ELISEO TAM RASCO, Regional Director.

RD RASCO personally led the inspection of Lotto, STL outlets in GenSan where they have installed tarpaulins and stickers noting its closure per directive of PRRD. RD RASCO conversed with the owner further explaining the grounds of the said closure of their respective business establishment.

They roamed all throughout GenSan and even went inside Malls to ensure the shutdown of all gaming / gambling outlets franchised or licensed by Philippine Charity Sweepstakes (PCSO) as they were declared illegal by the President who was provoked by a massive corruption issue.

He likewise directed PDs/CDs and COPs of different City, Provinces and Municipalities to do the same in ensuring the immediate closure of said Lotto and STL outlets operating in their respective Area of Responsibilities.

It was specified by PRRD that all gaming outlets operated, franchised and licensed by PCSO are terminated or suspended immediately. He also instructed to arrest violators who insist on continuing the operations of such. (Pat Jose D Dullano III, RPIO 12-PNCO)
