Motorcycle hits pedestrian in Koronadal highway, driver and victim both died

KORONADAL CITY - Patay ang dalawa katao matapos masangkot sa vehicular crash sa Koronadal City kahapon. Mga biktima nagkakaedad ng 64 at 72 years old.

Kinilala ng Koronadal City PNP na pinamumunuan ni Police Lt. Col. Joefel Siason ang driver ng motorsiklo na nasawi na si Datu Omar Sambuto, 64 years old.

Lumabas sa inisyal na pagsisiyasat ng mga pulis na nabangga ng motorsiklong minameneho ni Sambuto ang pedestrian na si Rolando Bungan, 72 years old ng Barangay Saravia, Koronadal.

Ito ay habang papauwi na sa Sultan Village, Barangay Palian, sa karatig bayan ng Tupi. Naganap ang vehicular crash sa national highway, Purok Ilang-Ilang Barangay Saravia.

Dahil sa lakas ng pagkakabangga ng motorsiklo ang driver na si Sambuto at pedestrian na si Bungan ay pawang nagtamo ng matinding mga sugat sa ulo. Sila ay dead on arrival sa isang pribadong ospital sa Koronadal City.
