COTABATO CITY - The lone bus firm resumed operation early today after a day-long drivers' and employees' sit down strike Wednesday.The first trip bus arrived shortly before 6 a.m. today from Davao City to the delight of regular bus commuters.Elmo, a pseudonym of Mindanao Star bus driver, said something good came out of the sit down strike. Okay na, may napakasunduan na, he said without elaborating.Drivers, conductors, inspectors and ticket officers held a one-day strike demanding pay hike.Mindanao Star, formerly Weena Bus, is the lone bus firm serving the Cotabato-Davao route passing by the towns of Pigcawayan, Midsayap, Pikit, Matalam in North Cotabato, Pagalungan in Maguindanao, Bansalan and Digos City in Davao del Sur to Davao City.
