Fire hits birthing station in Radja Buayan, Maguindanao

RADJA BUAYAN, Maguindanao - A fire believed to be triggerd by electrical connections gutted down a birthing station in Barangay Poblacion Zapakan, Radjah Buayan before dawn Tuesday.

Mayor Zamsamin Ampatuan of Radja Buayan said the fire started at around 2:30 a.m. 

Quoting a report from Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, Ampatuan said three homes were destroyed by the fire.  The affected structures were owned by Badria Lumenda, Joy Lumenda/Bailabi Birthing Clinic, Pogi Lumenda.  A multi-purpose building owned by former Vice Mayor Lumenda was partially damaged.
