Driver patay, MNLF official at aide sugatan sa Matalam ambush

MATALAM, North Cotabato  - Hindi na umabot pa ng buhay sa ospital ang isang Barangay Peacekeeping action Team o BPAT member habang sugatan naman isang Barangay Chairman at isa pa matapos na tambangan ng di pa kilalang mga suspek sa Barangay Ilian, Matalam North Cotabato.

Kinilala ang nasawi na si Kunti Kadatuan Solaiman na residente ng nasabing lugar habang ang sugatan naman ay sina Kutin Idtug, 67 anyos, may asawa at Punong Barangay ng Ilian at Chairman din ng Political Affairs ng MNLF at Antonio Saban, 53 anyos at nakatira sa Barangay Kayaga, Kabacan Cotabato.

Batay sa ulat, 1:45 ng hapon nitong sabado habang lulan ng sasakyan ng Provincial Government ang mga biktima patungo sana sa Barangay Ilian nang pagdating sa lugar ay bigla na lamang silang pinaulanan ng putok ng walong mga armadong lalaki.

Nagtamo ng maraming tama ng bala si Solaiman na naging sanhi ng agaran nitong pagakamatay habang mabilis namang isinugod sa ospital sina Saban at ang Kapitan ng barangay.

Samantala, patuloy namana ng ginagawang malalimang imbestigasyon ng PNP sa naturang krimen.
