7 hurt when SUV collides with another SUV in Makilala, N. Cotabato
MAKILALA, North Cotabato - Seven persons were hurt, including a minor, when two brand new pick-up vehicles collided along the national highway in Barangay Poblacion here Monday noon.
The mishap occurred at 12:30 p.m. in Purok 11, Barangay Poblacion, the Makilala traffic office said in a report furnished to DXND Radyo Bida Kidapawan.
Injured and are now confined in a hospital in Kidapawan City were identified by Makilala PNP as Mojahid Cosain Magayan, 39, a government employee and driver of black Toyota pick-up and his passengers Anisa Macadato Magayan, 39, buisnesswoman, Noriama Gapor Sarip, 32, Rainida Limgas Gapor, 26, Nassiba Mapandi Botawan, and a minor, all residents of Barangay Poblacion, Pikit, North Cotabato.
Investigation showed that the two vehicles were traveling on opposite direction when the Black Toyota pick-up collided with a brown Nissan Navara along the curve and downward portion of the highway.
The Navara pickup was driven by Ruel Aguilar Serrano, 76, a resident of Quezon Boulevard, Kidapawan City collided head on with the Toyota pick-up truck.
