KORONADAL CITY -- Two persons were injured in a vehicular crash in Tupi, South Cotabato early today involving a container van and aluminum van, police said.

Captain Samuel Bascon Jr, police chief of Tupi, said the driver of a truck that carries container van parked his vehicle by the roadside in Barangay Polunuling, Tupi, South Cotabato at past 5 a.m. He had the hazard lights on.

Bascon said apparently the driver of the aluminum van (license plate JES-750) did not see the parked container van beside the highway and hit its rear.

Miraculously, aluminum van driver and his companion only sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Bascon said the owners of two vehicles are talking that may lead to amicable settlement of obligations.
