Philippine Eagle "rescued" in Makilala, North Cotabato

Philippine Eagle na rescue sa Barangay Kisante, Makilala, Cotabato.

Dalawa katao ang nakakita sa agila na pinagtutulungang awayin ng kumpol kumpol ng mga uwak sa loobang bahagi ng isang rubber plantation.

Dali dali nilang nilapitan ang ibon at binalot ng damit. Sa taya ng mga awtoridad nasa 20 kilo ang timbang ng nasabing agila.

Nakatakdang iturnover ngayong araw ang ibon sa Department of Environment and Natural Resources o DENR.

Freak tornado destroys 40 homes in Pres. Quirino, Sultan Kudarat

PRES. QUIRINO, Sultan Kudarat - At least 40 homes made of light materials were damaged by a freak tornado that hit farming communities here over the weekend as torrential rains hit the region.

Affected villages during the 530p.m. weather disturbance were Romualdez and Kalanawi II, Pres. Quirino, Sultan Kudarat.

The LGU Pres. Quirino has already extended help to the victims.

Two Dawlah Islamiyah Terrorist members arrested in South Cotabato

CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao – Two members of Dawlah Islamiyah terrorist group were apprehended by the troops of 5th Special Forces Battalion on June 2, in Barangay Basag, T’boli, South Cotabato. Recovered from the suspects were; Springfield rifle, a caliber .45 pistol, and a 9mm Ingram.

Cotabato City LGU welcomes LSIs, ROFs at Awang airport

COTABATO CITY -- Cotabato City Tourism Officer Norianne Lou Frondoza and Mohammad Rascal, airport manager of Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP Cotabato Airport), have facilitated and welcomed on Friday 17 locally stranded Cotabateños and returning overseas Filipinos (ROF) at the Cotabato airport (Awang airport).

"Our LGU Cotabato City Team LSIs and ROFs was able to cater 17 stranded Cotabateños who flew in from Manila Firday aboard an AirAsia sweeper flight which arrived at 10:57am, Cotabato Airport,"Frondoza announced.

27-year old male in Sultan Kudarat is Region-12's 29th COVID-19 positive

COTABATO CITY - One new case of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) positive has been reported in the Soccsksargen region, the Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD-12) today said. 

The 29th COVID-19 positive in the region is a 27-year-old male from Sultan Kudarat who has travel history to Cebu City.  He arrived in the province on May 31, in stable condition but his swab test sowed he was positive for COVID-19.

Social pension ng mga seniors sa Kidapawan, ibibigay next week

KIDAPAWAN CITY - Aasahang sa susunod na linggo ipapamahagi sa mga kwalipikadong senior citizen ang kanilang social pension sa Kidapawan City.

Ayon kay City Social Welfare and Development Officer Lorna Morales, abot sa 36, 900,000 ang inilaang pondo para sa 8,280 na mga matatanda sa lungsod.

Sakop nito ang 1st at 2nd Semester ng taong 2019, habang tuloy naman ang pamimigay ng Social Pension para sa unang anim na buwan ng 2020 sa June 10-13, 2020.

With poise, LGBT in Çolumbio, Sultan Kudarat haul sacks of rice

COLUMBIO, Sultan Kudarat - Napagkatuwaan ng ilang empleyado ng LGU at mga miyembro ng Lesbian, Gay, bi-sexual and transgender (LGBT) na magsuot ng costume habang nagbubuhat ng bigas sa Barangay Poblacion sa nasabing bayan.

Ayon kay Leila Mae Motalib, isa sa mga empleyado ng LGU Columbio, dahil sa pagkabagot sa quarantine dulot ng COVID-19 pandemic naisipan nilang gawing katuwaan ang pagbubuhat ng bigas na nagsimula pa noong biyernes.

Koronadal nurse na under quarantine, tumakas, pinaghahanap ng mga otoridad

KORONADAL CITY - Nanawagan si Koronadal Acting City Health Officer Dr. Edito Vego sa publiko na tumulong sa paghahanap kay Rolyn Rey Entano.

Si Entano ay ang nurse na tumakas sa isolation facility ng lungsod.

Sinabi ni Vego na obligado si Entano na tapusin ang 14-day quarantine protocol. Siya kasi ayon kay Vego ay dumating noong nakaraang lingo mula sa Davao City na mayroong local transmission ng coronavirus disease o COVID-19.

TAMPAKAN, South Cotabato - Matapos maipatayo ang kanilang airconditioned isolation facility, sinimulan na rin ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Tampakan, South Cotabato ang paghahanda ng mga libingan para sa mga mamamayan ng bayan na maaring masawi dahil sa COVID-19.

Ayon kay Tampakan Mayor Leonard Escobillo, layon nito na matiyak na mailibing sa loob ng 24 oras ang papanaw na COVID-19 patient.

Ito ay bilang pagsunod na rin sa protocol ng Department of health.
