Cotabato pawnshop manager missing with P13-M worth of jewelry

COTABATO CITY --Police authorities here are hunting down a lady manager of a pawnshop who fled with about P13 million worth of jewelry, gold, diamond and expensive wrist watches.In a police report, the Cotabato City Police Station 1 identified the suspect as Maria Sally Garcia who also goes by the name Sally Biadog Garcia, a resident of Parang, Maguindanao and manager of a pawnshop located along Don Rufino Alonzo Avenue. She remained at large.The pawnshop owner offered P200,000 reward for any information leading to her location and eventual arrest.


Defeated Maguindanao candidate, 5 others arrested in PDEA-ARMM anti-illegal drug trade operation

SHARIFF AGUAK, Maguindanao – While prohibited drug lords, illegal drug pushers and users in some areas across the country voluntarily surrendered, a defeated candidate for town council member here, his wife and four others continue with the business unmindful of incoming government’s warning.
The couple and four others were arrested Wednesday noon following a drug buy bust operation, ending a month-long surveillance operation by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PDEA-ARMM).


Police Inspector, 7 others hurt in Saranggani grenade attack

KORONADAL CITY – A town police deputy chief, five policemen and two others were hurt
in a grenade attack in Maasim, Saranggani province Monday night, police said.

Public school teacher, 4 others nab in Tacurong anti-illegal drug drive

TACURONG CITY– A lady public school teacher was arrested for possession of illegal drugs during police simultaneous anti-illegal drug operations Tuesday, police said.Supt.Ranie Hachuela, Tacurong City police chief, said Noria Pudin, teacher of Tacurong City National High School was among the five persons arrested during the early morning raid.Also arrested were Benjie Ganding Gayan, Aliman Midtonong Salat, Nasser Midtonong and Hasser Musalim, all residents of Barangay New Isabela.Hacheula said the raid was conducted wqith a search warrant issued by Tacurong Regional Trial Corut Judge Melani
