4 DOLE-12 interns claim Cotabato City village chair harassed, threatened them

COTABATO CITY - Four interns of the Department of Labor and Employment here have complained of threats and harassment against a village chair during an altercation inside Don E. Sero Elementary School Wednesday morning.Speaking to DXMS Radyo Bida, the four interns, tasked to list down and interview indigent pupils and their parents, asked not to be identified for security reason.They claimed that on Wednesday morning, armed tanods (village watchmen)of Chairman Amil Sula of Barangay Rosary Heights 5 arrived and confronted them for not coordinating with thebarangay officials.

COTABATO CITY - Power supply for Cotabato Light and Power Company (Cotabato Light) franchise area has improved, a power firm official today said.Ana Lea Natanio, Cotabato Light Human Resource and Reputation Enhancement Department head, said power supply from the National Grid Corporation (NGCP)has restored power lines from Kabacan station to Nuling station in Barangay Simuay, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao.Cotabato Light's power source was back at Nuling as of 5:39 p.m.

Due to terror plots, Kidapawan on 'heightened alert'

KIDAPAWAN CITY --City Mayor Joseph Evangelista has confirmed the city is on a heightened alert due to terror threats coming from several armed groups. Cotabato Light consumers face 6-8 hour daily brownout

COTABATO CITY – Power consumers in Cotabato City and nearby areas will continue to
experience rotational brownouts as power supply from the National Grid
Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) continue to decline, a spokesperson of the
Cotabato Light and Power Company (Cotabato Light) today said.

Cotabato
Light is informing its customers that power supply situation within its franchise
remains very tight,” Arlene Hepiga, the firm’s communications officer, said in
a statement.
