KIDAPAWAN CITY - The local govenrment of Kidapawan and the Inter-Agency Task Force on Covid-19 has been implementing a no body temperature check, no entry.

All incoming vehicles must be subjected to disinfection. 


Cotabato Light implements 30-day payment extension

In view of the Covid-19 situation, the Cotabato Light and Power Company (Cotabato Light) will implement a 30-day payment extension for bills due on March 15 to April 14, 2020.

To protect our employees and customers who need to visit our service centers, we will limit the entry of our customers to our service centers to ensure safe distancing.  Only 10 to 15 customers will be allowed to enter at one time.  Other customers may wait outside, still observing social distancing.


BARMM tracks down Filipino tabligh delegates to Malaysia for COVID-19 monitoring

COTABATO CITY — The Bangsamoro Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on COVID-19 is tracking down the Filipino-Muslims who participated in an Islamic preachers (tabligh) gathering recently held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This was following the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos’ (NCMF) announcement that 215 Filipinos attended the religious gathering. The said gathering was reported to be linked to the sudden spike of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia.

COVID-19: Koronadal water district implements precautionary steps

KORONADAL CITY - The City of Koronadal Water District (CKWD) has imposed precautionary measures in its office to prevent spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), including the waiving of penalties for unpaid bill with due dates from March 17 to April 14.

In a public advisory, the CKWD said regular orientation seminar for new service connection scheduled every Thursday has been suspended until further notice.  The office will distribute reading materials, leaflets for important information regarding CKWD services.

Would-be killer of former Maguindanao SP member killed by soldier

COTABATO CITY --- A soldier killed a policeman who tried to kill a former member of the Maguindanao Sangguniang Panlalawigan in a daring gun attack Tuesday in Tacurong City.

Staff Sergeant Sherwin Berganio of the Regional Mobile Force 12 under the Police Regional Office-12, died from multiple gunshot wounds.

He and a still unidentified companion, together on a motorcycle, first attacked a former Maguindanao provincial board member Nasser Ali Angas, Sr. while alighting from his pick-up truck at their front yard in Barangay New Isabela, Tacurong City.
