Ministry of Health traces unvaccinated children against polio in BARMM

Maguindanao  - The Bangsamoro Government's Ministry of Health (MOH) is conducting a seven-day Rapid Coverage Assessment (RCA) to trace unvaccinated children against polio in the region.

The RCA is MOH-BARMM’s evaluation procedure to find unimmunized children below five years old and vaccinate them against polio for its ‘Sabayang Patak Kontra Polio’ campaign.

COVID WATCH: 11 new cases in Region 12

COTABATO CITY - Eleven new cases of COVID-19 has been recorded by the Department of Health in the Soccsksargen region as of tonight.

With this new cases, the region now has a total of 246 positive patients.

Seven of the new cases are from South Cotabato, two in Sarangani and two in North Cotabato. 

Dr. Philbert Malaluan, speakign for provincial IATF, said the two patients in North Cotabato are the 32 year-old man from Midsayap and the 35 year-old male from Mlang.

COVID WATCH: 4 new cases in Region XII, 1 recovers

COTABATO CITY - Four more residents of the Soccsksargen region have tested positive to novelcoronavirus disease as of today, the Department of Health said in a situation report.

With four new cases, the region now has 235 positive cases with 106 recovered patients.

The four new cases include a 28-year-old male from Manila who arrived as Locally Stranded Individual (LSI) in Cotabato City on July 19. The three others are from Sarangani province.

One patient, a 3-year-old boy from Midsayap, North Cotabato has recovered from the disease.

451 cumulative COVID-19 cases in BARMM since April

COTABATO CITY – The health ministry of the Bangsamoro region has listed a total of 451 cumulative COVID-19 cases since April, its regional government announced Monday.

More than 90 percent of the Bangsamoro residents who tested positive to coronavirus infection were locally stranded individuals, or LSIs, who have just returned to the region’s five provinces in the past 12 weeks.

4-month old girl in Cotabato City, 11 others latest COVID positive in Region 12

COTABATO CITY - A 4-month old baby girl in Cotabato City and 11 others in Sultan Kudarat and Sarangani provinces are the latest coronavirus positive in the Soccsksargen region to date, the Department of Health reported today.

With a dozen new cases, the region now has 231 total COVID-19 positive.

COTABATO CITY - The Bangsamoro Region health ministry has recorded 19 new cases across the region on Sunday, raising the total number of Covid-19 positive to 448.

COVID-19 WATCH: 15 new cases in Soccsksargen, 3 recoveries

COTABATO CITY - The Department of Health in the Soccsksargen region today reported 15 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total positive cases to 219.

Four of the patients are from Gen. Santos City while 11 others are all from Sarangani province.

All the new cases are locally stranded individuals who have traveled history to Manila.

The DOH also reported three new patients having recovered.  They are all from South Cotabato.

Cotabato City nurse, 5 others new COVID-19 patients in Region 12

COTABATO CITY - Six new more cases of coronavirus have been reported int he Soccsksargen region as of Satuday night, the Department of Health (DOH-12) said. 

Three of the patients were from Gen. Santos City, one in South Cotabato, one in Sarangani and one in Cotabato City , a nurse working at the Cotabato Regional and Medical Center (CRMC).

Ten of the 204 confirmed cases in the region have so far recovered, the DOH said, riasing the number of patinets who hurdled the disease to 98.

5-month old boy, 10 others new COVID-19 patients in Region 12

COTABATO CITY - Eleven new cases of COVID-19 positive patients have been recorded in the Sosscsksargen region, raising the total cases to 195, the Department of Health today said.

It also reported six new recovered patients, raising the number of those who survived the disease to 76.  

The yougest among the six new cases was a 5-month old boy from Cotabato City whose travel history and exposure are still under investigation. 

Five of the new cases were from Gen. Santos City, two in Sultan Kudarat, two in North Cotabato and two from Cotabato City.

DOH-12 reports 6 new cases of COVID-19

COTABATO CITY  - Six new cases of coronavirus infections were reported in the Soccsksargen region as of Wednesday night.

In a situation report (Sitrep) dated July 22, DOH said with six new cases, the total number of patients regionwide rose to 184 with 70 recoveries.

Of the six, two were from Gen. Santos City, one each from Sarangani, Sultan Kudarat and Cotabato City.

DOH also reported that two patients from Gen. Santos City have recovered.
