He has been raised

Easter Sunday – The Resurrection of the Lord -At the Easter Vigil in the Holy Night of Easter Reading 1 GN 1and1—2and2 In the beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was a formless wasteland, and darkness covered the abyss, while a mighty wind swept over the waters. Then God said, Let there be light, and there was light.God saw how good the light was.God then separated the light from the darkness.God called the light day, and the darkness he called night.

Pope to priestsand Show Jesus’ truth by being close to the people

If Jesus and his truth are to become truly present in today’s world, priests must do what Jesus did and be street preachers, going out to encounter and accompany sinners with tenderness and compassion, Pope Francis told the world’s priests.Jesus could have been a scribe or a doctor of the law, but he wanted to be an ‘evangelizer,’ a street preacher, the bearer of good news for his people, the pope said March 29 during the chrism Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica. This is God’s great choiceand The Lord chose someone who is close to his people, Pope Francis said.

You say I am a king

Reading 1 IS 52:13—53:12 See, my servant shall prosper,he shall be raised high and greatly exalted.Even as many were amazed at himCso marred was his look beyond human semblanceand his appearance beyond that of the sons of manCso shall he startle many nations, because of him kings shall stand speechlessfor those who have not been told shall see, those who have not heard shall ponder it.Who would believe what we have heard? To whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? He grew up like a sapling before him, like a shoot from the parched earththere was in him no stately bearing to make us look at

Teresito Chito Soganub said any efforts towards peace and rebuilding Marawi city is destined to fail without sincere commitment. At a press conference in Manila on Friday, he stressed the importance of healing by opening a door to people who experienced the tragic reality of conflict.
