Facade of KCC Mall of Gensan collapses

GEN. SANTOS CITY - The facade of KCC Mall of GenSan has collapsed this morning and nobody was hurt based on initial report, according to the Gen. Santos City disaster risk reduction and management office.

The facade facing J. Catolico Street, particularly above McDo food chain, gave way at about 7 a.m., damaging tricycle parked below it. 

Vien Velarde Rafanan posted on her FB page the images of the fallen facade. Carlo Domantay also posted the same image in his FB page.

Investigation continues, the Gen. Santos City DRMMO said in a statement.

Mga puno nabuwal dahil sa malakas na hangin, ulan

KIDAPAWAN CITY - Halos mahati ang isang bahay sa Barangay New Cebu, Pres. Roxas, North Cotabato matapos na mabaksakan ng puno ng niyog na nabuwal dahil sa malakas na hangin at ulan. 

Bagsak din ang isang puno sa tabi ng kahabaan ng national highway sa Barangay Saravia, Koronadal City dahil din sa ulan at malakas na hangin.

Ang bahay sa Pres. Roxas ay pag-aari ni Eduardo Nacua at nasugatan ang kankyang anak na nakilalang si Edmart Nacua. 

Nasa loob ng bahay si Edmart nang mabuwal ang puno ng niyog na nasa tabi lang ng kanilang bahay dakong alas 5 ng hapon kahapon.


Eid obligatory outdoor events in BARMM peaceful

COTABATO CITY --- The Eid’l Fit’r outdoor congregational prayer rites Wednesday in provinces of the Bangsamoro region were peaceful, highlighted with calls for religious tolerance by officiating clerics.

The Army’s 6th Infantry Division hosted an outdoor ceremony for more than a thousand worshipers in its parade ground in Camp Siongco in Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao facilitated by officers, among them Col. Markton Abo of the 38thInfantry Battalion, an ethnic Maguindanaon Muslim.


Husky bus catches fire in Tantangan, South Cotabato

TANTANGAN, South Cotabato - A husky bus bound for Cotabato Ctiy went ablaze while traversing the national highway in Barangay Magon here at 3 p.m.

Police said the bus (MWB-724), loaded with about 30 passengers, left at Koronadal Integrated Bus Terminal at about 2:30 p.m heading for Tacurong Ctiy en route to Cotabato City when the incident happened.

Abdulmanan Kendi, the bus driver, said the bus was in perfect condition when it left the Koronadal terminal.  He added that the bus had just been repaired in an electrical shop.


Quakes hit east of Mindanao

GEN. SANTOS CITY — A magnitude 6.2 earthquake rocked eastern part of Mindanao today and traced by Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismologyt to Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental.

In a bulletin, Phivolcs said the quake’s epicenter was at 92 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 6:12 p.m.

It also recorded three aftershocks, the latest at 7:15 p.m.

Phivolcs said that the 6:12 p.m. quake was of tectonic origin and had a 76-kilometer depth of focus.

Dutch kidnap victim slain by ASG as he tried to escape

Abu Sayyaf militants killed kidnap victim Ewold Horn while he was trying to escape his captors in the midst of the military offensives in Patikul, Sulu this morning, May 31.

Horn was shot by the group of top leader Radullan Sahiron amid the focused operation of soldiers from 32nd Infantry Battalion in Sitio Bud Sub-Sub, Barangay Pansul.

Access Bangsamoro is an online and social media portal that aims to promote the free flow of information, discussions and analyses for the effective implementation 
of the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) and successful transition to the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Kinilala ni Pikit Chief of Police Major Mautin Pangandigan nasawing biktima na si Fortunato Nadela Jr., 40 anyos at nakatira sa nabanggit na lugar.

Ayon sa inisyal na ulat ng pulisya, pinagbabaril ang biktima habang nagpapahinga sa duyan na nasa harap ng kanilang bahay.
