Lola patay matapos mabundol ng passenger van sa Kidapawan

KIDAPAWAN CITY – Patay ang isang 66-anyos na lola makaraang mabundol ng isang pampasaherong Toyota D4D HiAce van sa national highway, Barangay Binoligan, Kidapawan City alas-12:33 ngayong tanghali.

Sa ulat ng Call 911 Kidapawan, nakilala  ang nasawi na si Erlinda Geronimo residente ng nasabing lugar.

Nakilala naman ang drayber ng van na si Janrel Azunada, 33-anyos at residente ng Barangay Paco, Kidapawan City.

Patuloy pa ang imbestigasiyon ng Kidapawan City PNP Traffic Section.

Big volume of shabu seized in latest PDEA Maguindanao bust

MAGUINDANAO --- Authorities seized P6.8 million worth of shabu from a dealer Tuesday, just a week after three women employing children as drug couriers got busted in Cotabato City.

Juvenal Azurin, director of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, said Wednesday they are now in custody of Sahid Talib, who fell in an entrapment at past 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the town proper of Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.

Landslide, naganap sa Poblacion, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato

LAKE SEBU, South Cotabato - Nagpapatuloy pa ang assessment na isinasagawa ng MDRRMO sa mga naitalang pagguho sa nasabing bayan.

Sinabi ni Municipal Disaster Risk REduction and Management Office action officer Roberto Bagong na nagkakaroon ng pagguho ng lupa dahil sa sunod-sunod na pag-ulan nitong nakalipas na ilang araw.

Ayon kay Bagong, may limang mga bahay ang naapektuhan. Inerekomenda naman ng Barangay officials na pwedeng lumipat pansamantala sa Barangay Gym ang mga apektadong pamilya.

Sinabi ni Bagong na ang mga bitak sa Highway ay naireport na sa DPWH.

Tindahan sa tabing kalsada, inararo ng Toyota pick-up sa Pres. Roxas, North Cotabato

Makikita sa larawan ang wasak na bahagi ng isang pulang Toyota Hilux matapos na bumangga umano ito sa isang tindahan sa tabi ng highway sa Barangay New Cebu, President Roxas, North Cotabato kaninang umaga.

Inararo ng sasakyan ang tindahan na pag-aari ni Joean Verdon na gawa naman sa light materials kaya ito nawasak, ayon sa mga saksi.

Maswerteng walang tao sa loob ng tindahan at nasa labas umano si Verdon nang mangyari ang aksidente dakong alas-6:00 ng umaga.

Duterte reiterates order KAPA ministry must stop, calling it a scam

GEN. SANTOS CITY – President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday reiterated that KAPA community ministry international must cease operation immediately, calling it an investment scam.

Speaking during the distribution of certificates of land ownership award in Barangay Lagao, Gen. Santos City, Duterte warned those who still join the investment scam by selling their farms to have “pay in” to KAPA that he will punch them.

“Iprenda niyo at bukas ipapatawag ko kayo lahat. Palinyahin ko kayo dyan at pagsusuntukin ko kayo, mapa lalaki o babae man,” the President told CARM beneficiaries.

COTABATO CITY (MindaNews / 12 June) – Three women were arrested in a joint anti-drug operation here Wednesday morning, with the suspects bringing with them four children apparently in an attempt to disguise their operations, authorities said.

Davao City diversion road mishap kills 9, more were hurt

DAVAO CITY - At least nine persons were killed when a 10-wheeler truck (wing van type) loaded with sacks of rice lost its brake system and plowed vehicles and pedestrians along the diversion road, Matina Pangi, Davao City.

The highway mishap, one of the deadliest in Davao City, happened at about 9:35 this morning.

The injured were rushed to various hospitals in the city. Police said the driver of the wayward truck is now in police custody.

NBI, CIDG raid KAPA offices in Tagum, GenSan

GEN. SANTOS CITY – Agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) on Monday raided the KAPA Ministry International offices in Tagum and in Gen. Santos City days after Pres. Duterte’s order to shut down the pyramiding scheme.

Also the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will file criminal complaints against officials of KAPA Ministry International for operating an investment scam. KAPA which has Cebuano meaning that says “Kabus Padatuon” (Make the poor rich).

Fire hits public school in Talitay, Maguindanao

TALITAY, Maguindanao - A fire of unknown origin destroyed a four-classroom building of Pegeda Elementary School in Talitay at 3:10 this afternoon.

The school has about 200 pupils and four regular teachers.

Talitay District Supervisor Edres Kasan said investigation as to the cause of the conflagration is still going on.
