NDBC news site hits half million viewers

COTABATO CITY – The new platform of news and information in
Central Mindanao region has reached more than half million hits this week,
making it one of the major sources of news and information of the people of
Central Mindanao and Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

It has average monthly viewers of more than 6,000 since its
launching 10 months ago, and still counting.

Cotabato City ready for floods, hopes it won't come

COTABATO CITY - Despitecontinuous rain happening in Maguindanao, Sultan Kudarat and South Cotabato this month,the Cotabato City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) has not recorded any flood occurrence in low lying areas of the city.Since the onset of the rainy season, the CDRRMO has been in close coordination with their barangay officials and has also been monitoring the water level in the rivers and tributaries surrounding the city.

Forced evacuation imposed in Koronadal due to landslide threat

CITY – The Koronadal City government has implemented forced evacuation to about
18 families in a remote village here due to possibility of a major landslide,
officials said.

At
least 18 families from Sitio El Gawel, Baragay Saravia, Koronadal City were
hauled by the city government using dump trucks and other vehicles as torrential
